Modern social benefits : Include, Social Security, Medicare, Minimum wage controls, Union organizing, Federal Regulation of business and corporations, And various agencies, such as the FCC, FAA, FDIC, CDC, FDA, etc... And the ability of the Federal Government to invest into, and even create and develop various industries and infrastructure in benefit to the free market, such as roads, dams, power plants, and technology via Universities and research centers.
Proposed solutions for Modern social benefits :
The solution is to restore the Constitution, and then begin amending it, as needed, and rightly, over time, repealing amendments as needed. Thats how our government is suposed to work.
a) These benefits, can all be maintained, by specific amendments, which grant the Federal government via Congress the powers to regulate business and corporations IN A SPECIFIC MANNER, and what agencies it can use to do so, and their limits of power.
b) And separate amendments to maintain Social Security with mandates for funding, and Medicare as it exists today with some improvements. In this way, the Federal Government can continue to provide very specific benefits, and protections for the public from abuse as it does today, via amendments stating those powers, and the clear limits of those powers.
THAT.. is how its supposed to work, via amendments in clear language, allowing specific limited powers, to serve the people.
To do this, the Constitution must be restored as law. PERIOD.
